Malpas Business Network (BIZNET)
Meeting Report - 15th July
The July Meeting of Malpas Biznet saw members talking about what they wanted to see Biznet doing for them. This informal discussion was preceded by an update on what has been achieved since June with the second full page advert in the Whitchurch Herald, the support of the Hanging Baskets, a new 12' Biznet Banner which (wind permitting!) will be seen advertising our meetings over the Jubilee Hall ( you should have all seen it by now ), and the release of our Members Stickers for windows and cars.
We have prepared two mail drops to advertise the Biznet to all the Consumers in the local area and these are planned for September and January at the moment, but the 2500 leaflets will be spread across the area and contain details of the members and will serve to raise awareness of the BizNet "Brand".
We have been asked for a map of the coverage of Malpas Biznet and this has now been added to this site (in Main Menu)
The Business card raffle was won by Keith Plumb of IPS, he took away a £25 voucher that was kindly donated by Jayne Grimwade at Ginger Lilly
A report of the proposals and ideas is in the Members Area on this site and we look forward to feedback from all members on any or all the points that were raised.

The Malpas area is in need of more community volunteers. COULD YOU SAVE A LIFE None of us know who will suffer a cardiac arrest, have difficulty with breathing or sustain heavy bleeding. What we do know is that when such a life threatening condition occurs it is the simple things that save lives as well as the type of assistance available and the speed of response. Find out how you could save a life by volunteering to help your community as a First Responder, trained and equipped to provide certain treatment in life threatening situations prior to the arrival of an ambulance. Community First Responders can and do save lives. If you are interested in volunteering then E-Mail Frances at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
