The Chester and North Wales Branch of the Federation of  Small Businesses are holding a Green Award Ceremony as part of their Be Positive Be Green Evening   and would like to invite any small business in Chester and North Wales to enter.

The award will be in two categories  - one for businesses with 5 or less employees and one for businesses with between 5 and 200 employees.  The winners will need to prove what they have achieved to reduce their Carbon Footprint in the last year.  There will be a cash prize of £250.00 and a sculpture made by a local artist out of recycled materials in each category.  To apply for the award please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. At the Be Positive Be Green Evening  there will be representatives from ACS Ltd Wrexham giving a talk on Heat Pumps to save energy, Sharp Manufacturing telling us how they have won their environmental awards and Green Achiever giving the benfits of how a green award can improve your business.  We will also have a representative of the Carbon Trust available to give advice on their 0% interest loans for reducing your carbon emmissions.  This evening will also be a chance to meet other small business owners to exchange information, advice and support.
